Papuma Beach

Have you ever heard of Watu Ulo beach, or Papuma?. Surely there are still many who do not know. Most of us are more familiar with Kuta, Bali.

Watu Ulo and Papuma is located on the south coast of Jember, East Java. This beach can be reached within 1 hour drive from Jember. Public access to the beach is rather difficult due to lack public transportation to this area. Watu Ulo Beach itself is a long beach with a wide beach, is administratively managed by the Government of Jember district. The beach itself is actually very beautiful, but it is not accompanied with adequate facilities, ranging from lack of cleanliness, up to a makeshift parking vehicles. As a result the beach like no one care, quite a lot of garbage strewn on the beach. To visit this beach, you have to pay Rp4000, quite cheap ya.
Watu Ulo

Hose 1 km from Watu Ulo, we arrive at Tanjung Papuma. Administratively, the beach is managed by Perhutani. Therefore, we must to pay money again. This beach is a beach is incredibly beautiful. The beach itself is a combination of white sand beaches and coral beaches. Corals on the beach is very remarkable, big tall tower, it felt very exotic. Compared to her Bali, the beach is still much better (my opinion). Like the south coast, waves were very vicious, very large, it is strictly forbidden to swim in this beach. But there are still many other things to do but swim. We can explore coral reefs, see the beach from a height, and enjoy the beautiful sunset at this beach. The atmosphere is very romantic.

Besides its natural beauty, beaches Papuma also rich in fauna such as Komodo, Chicken , the birds with a variety of species, Warthog, Deer, Hedgehogs and the Aardvark.
